Sofia's First Fishing Trip

Dustin decided that he wanted to take a family fishing trip this weekend so he gathered the poles and off we went. This is Sofia's first attempt at trying to catch a fish the traditional way. The only picture I got with the actual pole in her hands.

Atempt two. She enjoyed fishing with the string and a bobber. She giggled and called the fish every time she through it in.

This is her third attempt at fishing, just using a stick, it didn't work. Maybe it was because she sang so loud and scared all the fishes away. "Little fish, little fish, little baby fish!," over and over. I promise the men on the other side of the lake heard her beautiful song.

Jackpot! She discovered the minnow bucket and she was able to catch a fish with the net.

Daddy was able to catch a fish and showed her all about it.

She touched the fish and wasn't scared at all. She actually touched it several times and sang to him also.

Sam was pretty patient with the fishing though. He has gone a few time and knows the ins and outs. He helped daddy a lot too. Bringing him minnows when he needed new ones.
