Dustin found a new dye this year that was pretty easy and less mess. You wear gloves because the dye is sticky. This dye doesn't stain your hands either.

You add a few drops of color to your egg.

Then roll the egg in your hands to rub the dye all over the egg. This was the hardest part, having to be gentle. We only had one casualty though!

Sofia was every good and patient with this. She colored all her eggs pink and purple.

Our finished products. As you can see, 11 of the 12 are still intact, unlike the first dark purple one Sam let fall and roll across the floor.

Good idea! We had 1 casualty, too! (Not counting the eggs that cracked while boiling!)
P.S. Your blog is looking great!
How fun! I almost had a freak out before I was able to pour the cups of dye down the drain. We'll have to try this next year!
