Trip to Fayetteville

We went to Fayetteville in April and had a great time visiting friends and family. We caught up with Matt for lunch at Osegera's on the square, a staple that Dustin and Matt had at least once a week when we lived there. Then we stopped by to see Liesl and Ella, as you can see the kids had fun playing and making faces together.

Liesl and I.

The last few pictures were taken by Dustin and my father on campus. We haven't taken pictures there before, even though we lived there for 10 years, so I really wanted some pictures, especially of our names on the sidewalk and of the kids around Old Main.

The main reason for our visit was for a good friends baby shower that I had helped plan, and crazy enough I have no pics of us together. We had a professional photographer come to the shower, so I didn't bring my camera. I can't wait for the pics, but I really can't wait to meet baby Aubrey. Emily was really blessed with a lot of goodies and the shower turned out beautiful.

And of course we had to come visit our favorite neighbors and catch up. We spent Friday afternoon with the Michies. The kids played and had a wonderful time with each other and we caught up on the last few months. Audra cooked kabobs from Rick's, which were great and an awesome peach cobbler. She is a wonderful cook, and a great friend

And of course, Sam had to see Austin. His best friend from birth. These boys act as if they haven't missed a beat when they get back together. Sam has so much fun with Austin. We we were leaving Fayetteville Sunday, Sam sleep 4 hours on the way back. I'm sure Erica, Austin's mom had a long nap on Sunday too, after keeping the boys Saturday night.

We had a great visit with all of our friends. We even made it to a church service at our old church on Sunday. Then had lunch with Ross, Mary Lea and Maddie at the Catfish Hole. It was nice to come back and to be welcomed by all of our friends. We miss you all.
