Natural Bridge Wildlife Safari

A few Saturdays ago we headed south to San Antonio and went to the Wildlife Safari. It is a drive through safari where the animals come to the window and you can feed them. The kids enjoyed seeing all the animals and getting to throw them food. This Ostrich was very aggressive. He attacked the car in front of us, so we were trying to just pass him up and he caught us. He wouldn't stop knocking on the window trying to get inside. Sam loved it. He was laughing, until Dustin started to roll his window down.

There was a huge sign saying not to feed the Zebra's, they bite. We didn't chance it, but I was able to get this neat picture of on of them. Most of the zebra's were staying in the woods, hiding, but this guys was really close to us.

After going through the safari, we went to feed the baby goats. They didn't want anything to do with the food, they keep trying to eat the paper bag the food was in.

The goats really loved Sam!

After the safari, we ate lunch and headed to the river walk. The weather was great and we enjoyed walking the strip. We walked all the way down, played at the local park and walked back. We stopped at a little cafe on the river, had some ice cream and then headed back to Austin. The kids were asleep before we hit the interstate.
