SNOW!!

This was the view from our front porch on Saturday morning. We had somewhere between 5-7 inches that fell over Northwest Arkansas. We were here last year during the huge ice storm and we were all separated. We both have jobs that we can't miss due to weather . Last year we had awesome friends that helped us soooooo much with the kids, but of course they have moved to Arizona. In a bit of a panic because all the weathers guys said was that it was a repeat of last year which was ICE, I had come up with a back up plan, that thankfully we didn't have to use. One of Dustin's photographers came through and switched shifts so he would have the kids and could take them to the sitter when the sun was up. I did stay the night on Thursday at the hotel close to the hospital because it was bad, but I was determined to come home Friday. It took me 1 1/2 hrs to make it home Friday night. It usually is 20 mins, but like I said, I was determined.. So Saturday afternoon we went outside to play. The snow was too powdery to make a snowman so we just used the neighbors driveway to sled down. Dustin of course made snowball and threw them at everyone.

Sofia loved it. She wanted every turn to be her turn. She was mad in this picture because I wanted to take the picture and Dustin was waiting to push them.

Every time they went down together they would roll over each other and Sofia would yell at Sam," That's my face!" She's takes after her great grandmother. She a red hot mama!

Doing it all by herself. She had a blast!

Sam's turn. He love it too, he was the work horse, carrying the recycle lid back and forth up the hill. (we use the lid to the recycle bin because all the stores we went to were sold out of sleds.)

We had a great time and enjoyed the weather. Thank goodness it wasn't ice and we didn't lose are power for a week this time.
